The Road Trip

This Road trip consisted of driving from Santa Monica, California along the highway 101 through Big Sur and Monterey Bay to San Francisco. From San Fran to Lake Tahoe, to Yosemite National park. From Yosemite through Death Valley National park to Las Vegas, Nevada. Leaving Vegas to only drive about 40 miles due to an incredible hangover on both our parts. recovered and refreshed, we headed to the Grand Canyon and drove along the south rim to the four corners, which is where  Arizona. New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado meet. Moving along towards Colorado, so my girlfriend could buy marijuana legally for the first time in her life. Back South to New Mexico and West to San Bernardino, California. Really quick run through of the orientation of the trip but you got a general idea. Now, I don't know if it's a good idea to go in depth on each spot we took a stop but I will tell about the highlights of the trip.

The states.

after crossing the border my girlfriend and I decide to move to the states in order to make money and travel some more together. So my older sister had a four bedroom house that we were able to have our own room for the meanwhile I found a job. Being the way I am, I have always been very lucky with finding ways to make money. I passed a Home Depot store and thought to myself, now that's fast and easy money. In a 8 hour work day, if that, I made about 10 - 15 dollars an hour. Which is great and all but the work was pretty hard. For example, demolition, construction, labor. I soon encountered problems with my girlfriend of not being home much and she being alone most of the time. I found myself a pretty good job as a manager of a eyeglass repair shop. low customer count, fair pricing, and no hard labor. Needless to say I loved my new job. And once again after a few weeks my girlfriend complained. at this point, I was contemplating even having a girlfriend most of the time because my plan was to make money to experience travel once again. Careful conversation and precise planning led us to make a decision to take a road trip. This road trip would take place in the U.S.A. and would be 3 weeks long. what an adventure awaits.

Tijuana/San Diego

So my trip back to Tijuana was just as bad as the way south. I hate one hour bus rides and this one was three days. The plan was I was to arrive at my father's and stay there but when I mentioned I had met a girl and brought her with me. He was not content with my ideas. After her arrival a few days after me and awkward first days, because I literally had met her a week ago, we were so in love. Kind of disgusting but very beautiful and blind. It was heaven with a side a paradise. We had money, no responsibilities, we were both young, and we had no schedule.
Being that my partner was foreign, everything was new to her. I gave her the touristy Tijuana tour due to the city being very dirty and saddening. Since Tijuana is the most daily crossed border, we went to tour San Diego. We really didn't do much more than eat, drink, have intercourse, and sleep. So we started talking about what or next move would be.

Back to my blog!

Oh my god after almost two years, I will be engaging in my blog once again. I put the laptop down because I was seriously heart broken. I know it sounds very childish, but I couldn't continue writing. But I will fill you in on all the details from where I left off. And I want to everyone to keep in mind, this is basically my life story. Except I left out the early childhood stories because it's not time yet. I basically lived life and oh did I. So if you come across this blog and find it interesting stay tuned and share!
